Sundance Lab

This year I was once again invited to serve as an advisor at the Sundance Documentary Music and Sound Design lab at Skywalker Sound. This fantastic lab puts four filmmakers, four composers, and four sound designers together for a week to collaborate on a scene or two from each film. The atmosphere is supportive, but everyone feels the pressure to do something great.

The Sundance staff - Peter Golub, Jarom Rowland, Tabitha Jackson, and Kristin Feeley are just the best. My co-advisor this year was George S. Clinton, and what a peach of a person he is. Josh Lowden and everyone at Skywalker always make us feel welcome, and hey, you can't complain about the location.
